This is my teacher, Jake Asuit, the off-beat Knife Maker from Cleveland, Georgia.
With each piece of his own forged steel and materials for handles, comes the inspired imagination for his one-of-a-kind knives. It is his undeniable passion that fuels the forge he sweats from, the lifting of the hammer that forces the steel to do what it wants first, then what he wants. Each lesson learned leads to another, each facet of the skill drives him to dig for deeper understanding of what we do.
